Daffodil Web &
e-Commerce (DWE) emerged out with
its first Internet approach for the
project for mass people of Bangladesh
as www.jobsbd.com . This was the first
unique of its kind of project for
the whole nation. At the beginning
of the year 2000 the planning of the
project started and ended with a successful
launching of jobsbd.com on July 09
2000.
With its launching a huge appreciation
received from the whole country and
NRBs (Non Residence Bangladeshi) from
all over the world. Hundreds of press
coverages published in the newspaper
at this stage. Different TV channels
(BTV, Channel - I, ETV) shown exclusive
program on jobsbd.

With the successful
launching of Jobsbd.com, it was found
from market research and customer
feedback that a huge lack of quality
web and web enabled service deficiency
remains with the market. So at the
end of year 2000 and beginning of
the year 2001 Daffodil Web & e-Commerce
(DWE) started its service in the field
of commercial web and web enabled
software development with a slogan
of "Power of Mind on the Net".
It started with its first customer,
Care Bangladesh (Polio project)

government and corporate organization's
website was developed at this stage
including Bangladesh Nationalist Party
(BNP), IIFC, Pran Foods, Bangladesh
Film Development Corporation (BFDC)
etc. and many more...

Overseas project
started at this stage with a considerable
experience from the local market.
With the marketing assistance from
some world-renowned websites and strategic
partners overseas, DWE started its
overseas services. These services
including e-Commerce site, Corporate
websites, Web enabled software and
applications etc.

Some of the large
Government projects like Board of
Investment (BOI), Bangladesh Parjatan
Corporation, Bangladesh Technical
Education Board (BTEB) started at
this stage.

With successful completion
of couple of mid size overseas projects
and a good number of local large projects
DWE achieved 130% of its targeted
business for the year 2002.

swing (2003) |

Beginning of the
year 2003 DWE set its target with
a significant geometric growth. With
the continuous market research and
development, DWE is confident to meet
its customers' demand invariably.
Many Associates (Overseas and local)
have shown their interest to work
jointly with DWE. A marketing leason
office in Silicon Vally, USA opened
its work for Daffodil, MTS Canada
is also working as business development
centre for Daffodil. On September
08, 2003 the company incorporated
as a Joint Stock (Limited) company
as Daffodil Web & e-Commerce Ltd.
